The heat insulation glass that can be thermally toughened
Coated insulation glass is usually unsuitable for thermal toughening. In the case of thermally toughened panes, the coating therefore has to be applied to the panes in their finished dimensions, after the toughening process. Interpane supplies an alternative – iplus ET. It is a coated glass that can be thermally toughened during further processing. This offers advantages in terms of logistics: manufacturers of safety glass or insulating glass with their own production of single-pane safety glass or of thermally-toughened glass can deliver in the short term (provided they have their own storage). The need for transporting glass in its finished dimensions, which is always associated with difficulties and high cost, is thus reduced.
